San Pedro Town came alive this past weekend as businesses and individuals enjoyed parties around town especially the big September Celebrations Independence Day Parade this past Saturday afternoon.
As always paraders were dressed in in vibrant colors, waving their flags and dancing through the streets of downtown San Pedro. This years costumes were lively and spirited as the people wearing them and it was exciting to see everyone come out to enjoy the parade and celebrate Belize History.
Our modest, independent country of 8,867 square miles and just over 300,000 people have a lot to be proud of and people countrywide joined together to celebrate Belize’s 32 years.
