Imagine yourself gliding between treetop platforms with a bird’s eye view of the spectacular Belize jungle – a truly memorable experience.
Belize Cave Tubing & Zoo
Be amazed at the dazzling crystal formations in some of the largest underground caves in the world. Hike through the rainforest and tube through the cave’s crystal clear waters. Visit the famous Belize Zoo with over 170 animals in their natural habitat. It is the only place in Belize where you will see almost all the native wildlife of Belize in a setting so natural that it also has a wide variety of non-exhibit animals that have also chosen to call it home.
Horseback Riding & Cave Tubing
Horseback ride at the largest equestrian ranch in the country. Once at Manatee Lookout, you will take a bus along the Western Highway to Banana Bank Lodge, were you will horseback ride through the jungle and along the Mopan River. Cave Tubing & Xunantunich
The famous Mayan archaeological site Xunantunich was a major ceremonial center for the ancient Maya. It was the first Mayan site in Belize to be opened for public viewing in 1954. From the top of Xunantunich you get a spectacular panoramic view of the Cayo District and across the border to Guatemala.
After lunch, you will head to the Belize Caves and hike through the exotic rainforest to the mouth of the cave. The view is stunning as you float away from the cave entrance on your inner tube with only your headlamp to lead the way.
3 in 1 Combo: Xunantunich Maya Ruin, Zip Lining & Cave Tubing
You are flown to Belize City where your tour guide will meet you and escort you through Belize’s beautiful countryside. The first stop is at Xunantunich Ruin, where you will cross the river on a hand cranked ferry, climb this 130 foot Mayan Castle and enjoy a view of the Mopan, Macal, Belize River valleys, and the Guatemala Peten District. Next, head to Caves Branch for zip lining and cave tubing. Zip line through the jungle tree tops above the forest floor and enjoy a bird’s eye view of our pristine ecosystem. After lunch, float on tubes through the rivers that disappear into the underworld caves that are filled with 1,000 year-old pottery shards, statues of fertility gods and Mayan footprints.
Actun Tunichl Muknal Cave (ATM)
Fly to Belize City and journey to the Cayo District to explore one of Belize’s most visited underworld Mayan Caves. The Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave is about a 45 minute drive off the Western Highway in Village of Teakettle. Enjoy a 45 minute hike through the jungle along the rivers to the cave entrance. You will swim across the crystal clear water to explore the caving portion of the tour. Once in the cave you will find the remnants of Mayan Rituals and Ceremonies arranged just as they were left thousands of years earlier by the Mayas. This is a challenging tour and you need a good level of physical fitness, and ability to swim. Shorts and t-shirts are recommended with hiking shoes or sneakers (no sandals allowed), along with extra clothing.
All Adventure Tours:
“Grand Caribe was welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. Beautiful views, luxurious pools, excellent maid service, and excellent front desk staff. Close proximity to town was a plus. We used our golf cart daily to make trips to town and liked having the flexibility. We loved the trip to the zip line/cave tubing from Belize City. Belizeans are truly friendly to visitors and each other.”
