Ambergris Caye San Pedro Belize

San Pedro Belize

Relax and enjoy as you discover the beauty and adventure that Belize offers.  You will find yourself falling in love with our little Caribbean jewel.

Belize (formerly British Honduras) is an English speaking democracy in Central America. Belize has a rich culture, friendly people and, for a relatively small country of 8,867 square miles, it offers endless exciting adventures.

Ambergris Caye (pronounced Am-BUR-gris or Am-BUR-grease Key) is located in the beautiful clear waters of the Caribbean Sea just off the southern tip of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. The island itself is 25 miles long and a little over a mile wide in some places, the largest of some 200 cayes that dot the coastline of Belize.  Its breathtaking scenery, wonderful climate, friendly people, and close proximity to the second largest barrier reef in the world make Ambergris Caye one of the best vacations spots in the Caribbean.  Only 2 hours by air from Houston or Miami, then a short, scenic flight from Belize International Airport to San Pedro airstrip, and you’re here. We can coordinate all your domestic (within Belize) travel arrangements so you'll have nothing to worry about.

Ambergris Caye MapGrand Caribe is located 2 miles north of the town of San Pedro, Belize on the Caribbean Island of Ambergris Caye. San Pedro is the largest inhabited area on the island. Its atmosphere is full of life and the cobble stone streets give it an old world charm. The town started as a quiet little fishing town and has now grown to Belize’s prime tourist destination.

For a small island there is no shortage of things to do in the evening; restaurants and cocktail lounges offer special nights; many offer great live music, fine dining by the sea and of course the famous ‘chicken drop’ on Thursdays. Our friendly reservations or tours staff can provide you with information on what to do, what to see and when it’s happening.  They will be more than happy to help you fill in your social events calendar.

The northern section of Ambergris where Grand Caribe is located is separated from the town by a bridge wide enough to accommodate people, bicycles and golf carts. The bridge links the Boca Del Rio Area to other areas in the far north of the island. Grand Caribe is perfectly located as it is not too far from San Pedro Town to be an inconvenience and it is not too close to be caught in the momentum of “business as usual”.

Grand Caribe has an astonishing view of the Barrier Reef. Because of the unique semi-circle layout of the resort and the elevation of property, every single condo offers amazing , unobstructed views.

Caribbean paradise -  just a few minutes from San Pedro, Belize.

Maya Island Air

The location is excellent ...close enough to go into town for dinner or shopping, but far enough away to feel removed. There were several restaurants and bars in walking distance.
