It matters not if the excitement will come from air, land, or sea. We have you covered. Imagine sailing out to the world-heritage Blue Hole with red-foot boobies leading the way overhead and gray dolphins escorting alongside. Feel the tickle of the cool salt air and sea as you snorkel near the world-famous second largest barrier reef with fish of every dazzling color, and large turtles, sting rays and nurse sharks playing nearby. Daily diving and fishing trips leave from our docks to any of the many internationally recognized sites, which are not too far away from our resort. Yes. Other daily tours that are available through Grand Caribe include visits to the Magnificent ancient Maya sites, which are scattered from north to the south of the mainland. A day in the Maya lands, immersing in the culture, food, clothing, temples, religion, and dances often leave wonderful imprints on many of our guests. We also provide cave tubing and cave exploration, which take visitors deep into the underworld of the ancient Maya. Here medicinal plants, ancient hunting trails, sacrificial caverns, natural formations, and exotic flora and fauna are key features. Eco-adventures such as river safari, birding, crocodile park, zoo, and the Baboon sanctuary experience are also available through our on-site tour office. So, whether your desire is a soft introduction to the native animals of Belize at the zoo that sits in the central wildlife corridor, or you seek the thrill of a face-to-face encounter with the Black Howlers at the Baboon Sanctuary, at Grand Caribe, it’s ALL at your fingertip. Additionally, those who prefer to explore on their own can rent paddleboards or kayaks. Grab your snorkel gear at the activity hut on the dock and paddle out to the barrier reef right in front of Grand Caribe. While you may be excited by counting the many starfish lining the seafloor on your way out to the reef, one of the most fulfilling experiences would be the opportunity to snorkel and see our resident blue octopus along with many other marine treats. Whether you like to start your day with a healthy workout routine or you’re just trying to make room for the fry jack breakfast or lobster dinner at our world-class Rain Restaurant, we have several on-site fitness options for you. Yoga classes are offered twice a week, and water aerobics and Essentrics classes are offered three days a week. Or, if you like to do your own thing, we have a fitness center with state of the art equipment that includes treadmills, recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, universal weight lifting machines, dumbbells, benches, and everything else that you need to remain toned. And of course, stretching, walking, or running on our beautifully maintained beach are always great ways to kick off the day!

If relaxing on vacation is more your thing, we have a beautifully appointed spa on-site, which offers a variety of rejuvenating spa treatments, packages, and salon services that are sure to awaken your senses. Relaxation

You can choose to be in the main pool, where all of the activity is, and enjoy conversation and the convenience of the swim-up pool bar, or you can choose one of our more private pools, all of which are serviced by our attentive pool bar staff. Medical Care
At Grand Caribe, we go above and beyond the usual amenities. We are the only resort on the entire island of Ambergris Caye with an on-site medical facility and pharmacy. Belize Medical Associates is located on the north end of the property and offers 24-hour access to guests for medical emergencies. For non-emergency medical care, BMA is open six days a week. This state-of-the-art facility provides a blood lab, ultrasound, and x-ray equipment. In addition to having a general practitioner available each day, specialists rotate each day of the week to offer a variety of services. The friendly and professional staff attend to your every need and offer prompt service. As an added benefit, guests of the resort receive credit toward medical emergencies and a discount on all medical services and pharmaceutical purchases during the length of their stay.
