Captain Sharks open Calcutta tournament was held at the San Pedro Holiday Hotel on Saturday June 22nd and Sunday June 23rd.
Grand Caribe owner boat “Johnny Quest” won the 1st Annual Captain Shark’s Billfish Release Tournament. The big tournament payed out at $10,000. The trophy is a hand carved mahogany Blue Marlin. Fitting since we caught a Blue Marlin to win the tournament. The tournament was sponsored by numerous companies including Tropic Air.
Cash and prizes were also given for the biggest tuna, dorado, wahoo and barauda.
