Mark your Calendar for the San Pedro Holiday Lighted Boat Parade

This weekend is going to be spectacular.  Saturday night, December 7th at 6pm be sure to find your perfect vantage point to enjoy the Annual San Pedro Holiday Lighted Boat Parade. The route runs from Wayo’s by Boca Del Rio south to Caribbean Villas and then turning around to end at the Central Park.

Many local businesses and charities are entering the parade and we are all wondering what creations we will be enjoying this year. The stage will be decorated by Saga Humane Society and the group will offering photos with Santa and his lovely Elves again this year.  We will be enjoying food and drinks too at the Central Park Block party.

Who is looking forward to the Christmas Carol competition?  The first prize is $500.00 donated by a generous anonymous donor.  And we have a Grand Sponsor to thank – The Belize Tourism Board with the recommendation of Minister Heredia has again supported the event and given us the means to ensure this will be a successful event.  We couldn’t hold this event without the donation of the stage by the Atlantic Bank Limited and of course the San Pedro Town council is donating the booths, tables, manpower etc and the council has been so helpful in ensuring the Christmas Tree is already lighting up the park. The t-shirt design by Dolphin Productions look super and festive.

The San Pedro Business Association Holiday Boat Parade committee wish to thank the sponsors for the financial donations – Quicksilver Messenger Service, Cholo’s Beach Bar, SeaDuced by Belize, Sunrise Realty, Wayo’s and Fidos.  The Lemoncrush Belize gift basket will be going home with a luck recipient and Caprice restaurant at the San Pedro Holiday will be hosting our judges this year. The lovely Miss San Pedro, Solani Graniel will be presenting the trophies and awards at the block party around 8:30pm.

This is a highlight of the year and the perfect start to your Christmas celebrations.  We hope to see you there!
