What better place to “Tie the Knot” than on a tropical island paradise, under the glorious sunshine, along the sandy shores over-looking the world’s second largest Barrier Reef?! – Well, that became a reality for Michael and Patti.
Think fairy tale!! Patti was in a car accident – and her paramedic – was Michael!!!! They didn’t know this then, but that accident was destined!!!
Some time passed, Patti recovered – and Michael just pretty much – went along his happy way. Some more time passed – and almost serendipitously they met again!!! At this meeting, they both immediately recognized each other – and this was the continuation of a lovely fairy tale!!
Plans for their Valentine wedding started over a year ago, and all plans were to make this big step in the United States. Simultaneously, they also started planning their first trip together out of the United States to Belize and when plans for a US wedding didn’t materialize as expected – the couple quickly combined the two – “take your vacation – and turn it into your Wedding”.
Patti Rivera and Michael Benavides arrived at Grand Caribe Belize on February 8th, and were married on the 10th. From the moment we met Patti and Michael – they were super pleasant, excited and very happy! They made it very easy for us to be able to contribute to their stay, beach wedding and vacation!!!
